Tour Length: 7:30am-3:30pm (8 Hours)

Your ultimate western adventure is just beginning… as you leave Durango on a steam train bound for Silverton, you will stop at Elk Park, where the owner of San Juan Sky Outfitters himself will be guiding you on this spectacular ride consisting of six people or less, deep in the Weminuche Wilderness Area. Once you disembark the train you will meet your sturdy steed ready to take you up the most magnificent section of the Colorado Trail. On a clear day you will see over 20 different mountain peaks as you ride to the top of the pass.

Once you’ve reached the top, take a break and enjoy a lunch while you take in the breathtaking view. On completion of your amazing adventure you will arrive at Molas lake. Your shuttle will take you back to Durango.

• 7:30am Board Train
• 8:00am Train Leaves
• 11:00am Disembark at Elk Park
• Mount horse and ride
• 2:15pm Meet shuttle bound for Durango
• 3:30pm Return back to Durango
